God Made Me Unique

Purpose:

For January 2020, the purpose of this project was to create a set of activity pages around a theme of God's creation and winter for children's church. This project was created for a kid's service at a local church. The theme is based around the bible verse, Genesis 2:7, which is, "Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being." Thinking of this verse and the idea of winter, the first thing you would probably think of is a snowman. Well, each snowman and even down to the tiniest snowflake are unique because each snowflake and snowman are different from each other. Kids come in many different ways and have different attention spans. Some kids may want to color while other kids may want to do a maze. These activity pages are designed to be simplified to a point of where it is easy for kids to grasp, learn, remind and at least have fun.

Design:

For design, there are many activities pages shown which includes coloring pages, connect the dots, mazes, word searches and more. Each page is different through form of typography, elements, shapes and design. For example, there are some coloring pages which simplified shapes for younger kids such as nursery to color and there are some coloring pages which contain more intricate elements for the older kids to color.
