Easter Projects

Purpose:

Overall the purpose of this project was to create graphics for the Easter holiday season! Every year is different and it can be calls for different vibes and wants! During the 2020 Easter season, it was such of different time where churches had to move toward an online environment. This project was created for a kid's chapel service at a local church. We all know Easter is an important time because of what Jesus Christ did on the cross. COVID-19 had changed a lot of people's plans, but to have a time where a church come through the use of online technology and brighten the day for young kids means a lot.

Design:

Design-wise, I wanted to keep every thing simple, easy to read and pastel colorful with whites, pinks, yellows and greens. The focus was to be on the fun aspects of the Easter season which are the little animals, eggs, and bright pastel colors. Typography is somewhat playful and rounded soft, not quite elegant but still in kooky form with letter shapes. The vectors are created in a way to be almost hug-gable, little chicks, where the shapes are flat, rounded soft and easily recognizable. Overall, these were easy from a design standpoint but tons of Easter fun.
